NAME: Boipelo Candy Michael

This is my
first post so let me introduce myself. My name is Boipelo Candy Michael,
i study Mass Communication in Limkokwing University of Creative
Technology, Malaysia. I did my Internship at Botswana Agricultural
Marketing Board (BAMB) from January to February. BAMB is a company
which deals with buying all farm products from
local producers and selling them to other companies after being
processed. The company makes sure that the nation is supplied with the
farm products at an affordable price.
I started my internship on the 2nd of January and it was a challenging
and exciting day. The company was
dealing with a crisis of shortage of sorghum, so there were rumors that
the Nation's food security is threatened. I was assigned to draft a
media release to insure the nation that everything is under control and
let
them know that the company has already imported the sorghum from
outside the country.
I had to apply the knowledge i have from PR classes and it was so exciting. My boss was so pleased my draft.

Your placement sound like it was the best place to be,being in such big organisation it is always a blessing with disguise.
It is so great to hear about the task you were doing, and i think it has given you the industry experience.
Sounds like you had quiet an experience, it must have been a good feeling to finally practice what you have learned in your PR classes.
