Week Two

Week two has been another amazing and very busy week at my internship :)

This week has really taught me first hand the importance of developing and keeping close relationships with people in the industry, this mainly includes bloggers, clients, editors, journalists and stylists. Whether it be through points of contact such as email or phone, meetings or showroom appointments it is important to maintain an image of friendliness, flexibility and honesty. 

Subsequently my tasks this week have involved gifting of new season pieces to be sent out to key magazine editors before they are available in stores as a further effort to maintain good relationships. 

Other tasks this week that I have got to do include visual merchandising of all products and accessories in the showroom as new stock arrives. Each brand needs to be displayed in an attractive and engaging way in order to motivate product to be pulled for use. Photos of new pieces that arrived this week were also emailed out to key stylists. 

This week I have also been really busy sending out and receiving in clothing and accessories from all different sources around Australia. It is of vital importance to keep on top of this as it gives our company an organised and efficient reputation. 

Cannot believe the time is already half way through!
