My name is Stephanie Vengadasamy and I am in my third year in completing a BA in Mass Communication. I am studying in Mauritius and even though I am in my holidays I decided to do my internship at home in Seychelles. I am currently doing my PR internship at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Seychelles, it may sound weird doing a PR internship there but I wanted to challenge myself learning how an in-house practitioner works. Actually, there is no physical presence of a PR department at Foreign Affairs but there is a Press Attache to the Minister which is also my mentor for the internship. I am learning a lot and putting the things that was pass on to me during those two years. I am in my second week now and I have already experienced challenges and even dealt with a crisis. I know my last post will be totally different from this one.

Hi, Stephanie...Hope everything is going fine. It is very nice to hear that you were able to do the internship in Seychelles, would have like to be able to do mine in Rodrigues but it was not possible. That is quite interesting to see the point of view of PR in public affairs. It is completely different from the business world what we learnt in class. Wish you all the best and keep uploading for us to be able to get feedback on the public affairs world.
