Embrace leadership and teamwork in PR #leadership #teamwork #publicrelations #keepgpoing #internship

Pr ethics enlightens us not only when it comes to keeping and sustaining the company's credibility, but it gives us a better notion on how teamwork is important. For the past few weeks, I observed every single aspect and realized that without teamwork the company cannot function properly.
I have developed strong bonds with my collegues and I must say this has really changed the way they work and has made them more productive and ambitious. Being a pr person requires leadership wisdom from within to be able to teach and set examples for others on how their contribution whether little or big can make a huge difference in the way the company functions.
I recently organized a meeting and asked each employee what they thought about the company and what they think could make a change-as they have been here for a long time and I was eager to have their ideas and thoughts even if I already knew what should be done.
I had made up my mind to create a PR plan before the end of my internship and for this I also wanted to make sure that all the employees would become more engrossed in the work by giving them a chance to speak up after all these years of experience in the field.
After all this, I could properly create a PR plan including the vision, goals and mission for the company which I will share in my last post.
As pr persons, we understand that every single choice and actions counts ! Make the right one and the best one for the company, not only to bring in more wealth in monetary terms, but to build up a purpose and stand by the ethics that makes a company become an image of wisdom and goals.

Hi Katherina,

I totally agree that without teamwork nothing can work best especially if you are doing your internship. I believe that when you work in a team mostly you are working towards a common goal. This also allow you to get every work done with a shared responsibility.

Otherwise I really like the way you based yourself with the PR ethics!

Thank you for your comment. Indeed teamwork is an amazing concept that can help the company work wonders ! Together we stand, divided we fall... That should be our main purpose, to work together, in fact it is one of the main aspects of communications, to understand each other, communicate with each other so as to bring in more effective and productive results. I also believe it is important to show your leadership qualities in the PR sphere as we have learnt during those 3 years that a PR person should also know how to take things in hand when facing a crisis. Our employer should see that from our personality, that we are fast-paced and able to adapt to any situations, in fact, these situations if taken care of can become the opportunities for better improvement.
