Good day everyone,
Today is Friday, which means I've already been working as intern for a week now, the feeling is all excitement and the learning experience never stops. The first day was really surprising, I was immediately brief by my co-workers which are also other interns from different universities. My supervisor was very helpful in terms of giving us the correct information and explain client knowledge and also their characters.
A couple of days later, I was appointed to follow my supervisor to a Robert Bosch(Malaysia) event, where the directors will be presenting the financial results and announcing a new division in the press-conference. It was eye-opening and I can feel the intense when the press starting to arrive. After the event, we went back to the office to continue monitor the press through websites and print articles. Everyday, I'll browse through the newspapers and monthly magazines to do research on related clients. If there are news from the clients, we will cut it out and do media calculating. It was a fun job overall as the clients of the company are automotive related industry(one of my fav interest).
I'm also grateful that the company able to accept me for only 20days and still pay me a full-month pay, they are sincere in teaching the correct attitude in the workforce and also the ethical manners outside the office. Best of all, I enjoy the internship and can't wait for next week to come, there're plenty of task to do that I would think its beneficial for my future.
Cheers,
Evon Tan
