Hard work begins

Corporate attire: CHECKED
Shoes: CHECKED
Make up: CHECKED
Hair: CHECKED
Nails: CHECKED
Laptop: CHECKED
Notebook: CHECKED
Lunch: CHECKED
Coffee: CHECKED

Yes, I think I ticked every part of my checklist, I can now enter the world of business.
It was 7:30 am and I think I never felt so overwhelmed in my life before!
My first internship day was about to begin..
When I rushed into the crowded lift, I knew it was not going to be easy but it would totally be worth it. I don't know, I just felt it! Once I greeted everyone, made coffee for myself and my colleague, put myself comfortable, opened my laptop ... and here was my first corporate mail staring me with its serious look! I confidently opened the e-mail and discovered my work plan for the whole month. Every single task was written in the calendar with strict deadlines (Oh Oh!). In conventional cases, this mail would have bothered an intern but I think my morning cereals had a real boosting effect on my brain and ideas started to pop out whilst reading my tasks. This is crazy, this internship is turning me into a 'workaholic' already!
I hope my motivation doesn't disappear in less than one week..

Good luck guys and looking forward to reading your posts! :)

Hi Sandiana,

It is true that apart from being motivated we should actually fit within the task given as responsibility. We should actually acquire the most of being an intern.I think that intern should fills the position given to them and should expect to learn the field from top to bottom. We should never miss an opportunity to connect with something new. This is what I have learnt in my internship. I have gone through various tasks which is boosting my knowledge. It is important for us to have every tasks completed due to its deadline. I also learnt that if you finish a project, ask for another. This is the only way to prove to the co-workers that we are motivated being an intern and is ready to be cut out of whirlwind world of PR. I really appreciate the way you enjoy your internship and is dedicated to go further. This is important to set boundaries in the internship as we should set the schedule and try best to stick with every assigned duties.

Stay motivated! This may be the only way to help us launch in our future.

Goodluck!
