My placement at medine!

Hello People :)
That's my first blog post and i don't really know what to write BUT here we go...

My internship is at Medine Limited; a three-clustered company, diversified into Property development, Leisure and agricultural activities. Medine is situated on the west coast of Mauritius and is one of Mauritius top company.

I am in the communication and Public relations department of Medine, which is situated next to the distillery in a small building only for Com and PR people. However we are in a small group of only 6 people including me.

Everyone in the department is very friendly and they made me feel at ease from the first day itself.

One thing that I really liked there is that there is another intern working in the com and PR department. She had been there for 3 months and therefore knows a lot about how things are to be done…. Her name is Beatrice and we share one big office together, each one of us has our desk with our computer, telephone… Since I’ve been there she had helped me a lot and explained to me almost everything in such a friendly that stress and intimidation fade away.

My supervisor is very kind, very professional and I’ve been there for only a few days but got to learn a lot already from him. He seems to know each and everything when it comes to communication and PR.

It’s been only a few days but I can already feel that at the end of these 20 days I will gain a lot and learn many things from that internship.

One thing that I can state for now is that; it all started very well! Xx
