Its not all that BORING at the end...

Hi Guys!!

So in my second post I would like to share a little more about my experience at Fleishman. My 1st week went well. I had to do simple work like media monitoring and media list updating. And to be completely honest it was absolutely boring!!!

In my second week I went up to my supervisor and politely asked her if I could do some more work-may be something creative. Thank god I asked her that as from then onward I got to do a lot of fun and interesting stuff.

Milo was one of our clients and my supervisor was handling their account so when I asked for something interesting to do she told me to brainstorm for some good ideas to run Milo breakfast campaign.

Of course I was super nervous but at the same time it was quite interesting. I always liked coming up with creative ideas for different campaigns. I am glad that I got the opportunity to do something I liked. She gave me 3 days to come up with  feasible yet very creative ideas. I listed down all my ideas and presented to her thinking that she may not like it or criticize me but I am glad that I was wrong.

She really liked my ideas and gave really good constructive feedback. I believe that one problem that most of us have is that we can come up with brilliant ideas but they may not be that feasible or we cant't quite explain properly how we want to execute it. So that is something she taught me. When she sent me the final work that they were going to propose to Milo, I saw that she kept all my initial ideas but made it more feasible and practical.

These are two clips from what I initially presented to my supervisor.

So at the end what I realized was that not every aspect of PR is fun but creative brainstorming or event planning was definitely my thing..... :)

Until next time this is Raiyana
