Final Blog and Report Tips!

Wow semester has flown by pretty quick. It's already the end of week 11! I hope everyone is going well with their placements or reports. I finished my report a few weeks back but I still have to write a couple blogs before I can hand it in.

For those of you who haven't started you report, don't stress but you should get onto it. I kept a dairy of what I did each day at work and found that when it came time to write the report it was much easier. I also wrote the report as I conducted my placement which was also handy.

Referencing was not too bad but like always it takes a long time so keep track of any texts you have looked at - it will be easier for you when you write the report. Also add to your reference list as you type the report, it will save you typing up a list all at the end which is really tedious. I found referencing helpful because it backed up any recommendations I made in my report, which I was slightly worried about showing to my boss only because it felt like I was saying they could do things better.

At th end of the day though, no organisation is perfect and an organisation practising good PR would take into consideration any recommendations as it could ulitmately benefit them.

Oh also keep a copy of your blogs as you write them...it's a pain trying to locate them all at the end :)
