Hello everyone!
This is my fourth entry and I would like to say that I have finished 22 days at my work. Yippie! But then again, I'm not completely finished yet. My official end date is 13th June 08, so that means I will still be involved in events with my intern work place long after the report in due.
I was worried at the start that I won't have sufficient info to write in my report, but by now I'm already 3/4 done so it is not too bad after all. I'm a bit sad that I could not include my post event review in my report, but that's ok since I will put most of it in by the due date.
My supervisor last week gave me the job to design a poster for their annual fundraising event this year. Since they are not really advertising for the event, they figured out that they do not require posters done proffesionally. So they just ask me to give it a try and they actually like my final design. Outcome = They are using it for the fundraising! The posters were printed on A3 size and laminated.
I was really happy and satisfied with my effort. Another star for me!
Till the next post, have a nice day everyone~
Regards,
Fareena R.

Hi
It seems like your enjoing and having great experience while your intership!!I am very envious of your situation that you are still able to continue your intership after finishing 22days at your work place. I did my internship in my home country, so I didn't have enough time to join event that I involved as I had limited time there.
Anyway, enjoy rest of your work there!
Cheers,
Marie
Hi Fareena!
That sounds amazing! You must feel very satisfied with your efforts...and then your artwork is used for everyone to see!
I know how you feel..I thought at the beginning of my placement that I would not have much to write about, however now that my time is finished, I have many work samples to put on my report!
Good luck with all your upcoming events. The only piece of advice I can give you...is Murphy's Law...whatever can go wrong, will go wrong! So be prepared!
Best wishes
Madison
Hi,
Your work placement sounds great! i share your feeling of excitement when your employer actually uses the work you have produced! There is no better feeling of fulfillment than seeing your work printed! I too am having work printed in a magazine and cannot wait to see it when it comes out. Make sure you keep a copy of it to include in your resume! Goodluck report writing :)
