Welcome to PR Internship - YOUR opportunity to put everything you have learned over the past years at university into practice and to get a thorough insight into what public relations is like "in the real world". This Blog allows you to reflect on your experiences, share insights with other students across campuses and to possibly give advice and support to fellow students. Please also see http://http://printernship-reflections2.blogspot.com.au/ for more reflections.

Work work work
It’s been awhile since my last post, sorry about that. I have been very busy with my other units and at my work place. Colosoul is getting busy and busy each day as we are now doing the preparation for our upcoming event that is happening on the 4th September 2009. Our first meeting was held at Subiaco Oval at the celebration homes offices. The meeting was about catching up with what is happening in Colosoul and getting everybody to know what they are doing and we are divided into groups so that we can continue discussing of what should be done. I am in the fashion team and my role in the team is preparing media kit and designing the layout for the media kit, also anything that have to do with media, such as writing media releases to all target mass medium. Our objective is to get as much media coverage about the fashion show. On Friday we had another meeting and we all were discussing about the sponsorship, invitation lists and many more. We sit down together and come out with any ideas that we can think of. It is getting interesting because now, I can really see how it works in the real world. It’s not easy as it look and what we done during university. This is real task that we want to achieve, during discussion we were talking about who will be our potential sponsorship and how we going to approach them to be our sponsorship. Moreover, we were listing down VIP people that we could invite in order to make them aware about this fashion show as well as getting their awareness about Colosoul magazine.
