hello people!!!
it has been a busy week for me at work. last friday(15th) i was asked to come up with a solid Public Relations proposal for the upcoming 25th anniversary of a certain company which will be held in a few months to come.
i will have to make a presentation Friday morning(21) to all my colleagues and explain to them my ideas and their strategies. basically i had 1 week to finish up the whole project alone as they wanted to see what i can come up with without any help from the office which meant that i had to work fast as time was not on my side.
Having done the project in Pr Consultancy module i had a clear idea of what the company wants so i used the same format. over the weekend i had to do a thorough research on the company background and try to come up with ideas to help celebrate the silver jubilee.
The most challenging part was that looking at the time i was given, i had to manage my time really well, so what i did is that i wrote down all the topics to be covered and tackled them one by one, which really helped.
The reality part-brainstorming the ideas is the most crucial part as they basically define the whole proposal. the thing i learnt most is that at school we just come up with ideas but we are not sure whether they are achievable or humanly possible to do. i went through all the proposed events and checked whether they make sense and can be put into action, bearing in mind the budget.
i will be making the presentation on friday( 22) and submit the written report to my supervisor who will then give comments.
stay tuned as i will be reporting how the presentation went........

Time management is important so that it keeps one on schedule to complete what they planned to do in time. that is the reason why in public relations there is a timeline to help one archive their objectives and goals well in time so they could work on other projects that brings productivity to the company.
