The end is just the beginning

As you can probably guess from the title, I have completed my placement at ANZ.

Too be honest time went really quickly, and I really did enjoy everything I did during my time there. Including putting lanyards on over 300 tickets till my fingers almost bled. Yes some may be surprised to know that not all things in PR are glamorous, but you know what I loved every moment.

Unfortunately for me, my last day was supposed to be at the economic breakfast on Tuesday the 23rd of March. The big event we had all been working up to, that is of course until I found myself in a car accident the day before which basically meant I had to stay home on painkillers.

This meant I missed out on helping to set up and see the big event. But something that did make my day better was getting a HUGE bunch of flowers from my boss telling me to get better and thanking me for all my help.

Since then I've been invited to an all expenses paid lunch as a reward for all my hard work. To be honest Its more an excuse to catch up with my supercisors and chat. We gave become good friends which is great considering I was her pleb for 20 days.

The experience and friendship I got out of my placement was above and beyond what I imagined.

It's nice to know that I enjoy realworld PR as much as university PR. Though to be honest, I think university PR is much harder!
