An Eye-Opening Experience

As a thorough freshman to the corporate world, my previous night to ma first day at MNG Publishing was one filled with wonder, excitement and flawless visions of a world where 'money' is at stake and an intern...a mere tea-sever. Yes, i did not sleep at all.

And i finally stepped into MNG Publishing, i felt a sudden change of perception. Then suddenly everyone is not as stiff as i had imagined them to be, smiley faces all around and hand-shakes,a very warm welcome indeed. And for that moment, i felt like boss! MNG Publishing is a company based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and publishes in total 9 magazines in variation of dates. The company's Public Relations department had just been established about three months prior to my commencement date. I settled in as an intern from Limkokwing University, Malaysia and had a briefing session on the runnings of the company and the expectations due.

And then i realized, an intern has more to offer than just coffee/tea and at that very moment i looked forward to a roller-coaster working experience with MNG Publishing. I became an MNG Publishing employee at heart! Guess it has more to do with the organizations phenomenal employee-relations and proves just how vital good employee-relations are in an organisation.
