Hey all
I've reached the end of my placement at RPH. Since it is my last day, the ladies in the public relations department have organised to take me out for lunch which is really nice of them.
I've taken a lot from my experience and I'm grateful to have had the opportunity. It certainly has enhanced my understanding of the public relations role. I've also found that I could apply what I've learnt from my marketing studies as in many ways PR and Marketing go hand in hand.
Although I missed out on being involved in the campaign and events aspect of PR during my work experience, I am glad to have been placed in such a large government organisations as it really has exposed me to so much and I've picked up some valuable skills that I'm sure will assist me in my future endeavours.
To those of you at the beginning of your placement, enjoy the experience and to those who have completed, the very best of luck in your future aspirations!
It has been a great 20 days :)
