Hi, this is my second post in this blog. its been so long since i didn't wrote in this blog. FYI, today is my 4th week of internship in SISTER Public Relations, UK. Lots of things and experiences that i've got in this company. From happiness to madness and sadness. everything i've got in here. Its not easy to work them. First, i have to understand what they want and what they've told me, which is sometimes makes me confused. haha but so far everthing is fine. The job that they've given me also quiet fun. Now, i've got a job from my boss to research and promote kids activitist and facilities in all shops in Regent Street (one of our client). I keep doing research for thisand it takes time to finish it. But, for the fun part, I've been invited to watch and give some contribution in London Fasion Week this February. This is amazing!! meet the famous fashion designer in the world and some British fashion designer. They want me to see how to work with professional people. This is seriously amazing. It's my dream to have work and watch LIVE London Fashion Week :)
Hmm, i think that's the only information that i have for now on. I think there's gonna be lots of fun things and experiences to do for the next next week. Wish me luck here :) and all the best for you guys!!!

Unfortunately I missed your first post, but I'd love to hear more about your internship if you wouldn't mind giving me a little more information..
Does your company handle the PR for different publications externally or is it a part of a conglomerate?
Are you representing designers as well as print publications?
How long is your placement?
Fashion internships are so hard to come by so it's really great to be able to hear it from an insider's perspective!

hi Katey :) thanks for your comment. i would love to share more stories about my internship here, in London. oh btw, i'm a student in Limkokwing University, Malaysia. It is really interesting in here. my PR company handle different publications and our clients are mroe to real estate in London, also we have team work with some magazines in London. I'm here for 10 weeks. actually for the fashion thing, i didn't contribut too much inside/ i just helping them and watch how they work and learn how to work with designer and big publications. That's it so far! i'll keep updated if i got something new from here :) have a nice day for your internship too!!
Wow, you're so lucky! London Fashion Week! I would love to be there. May I know who were some of the top designers and models there? :)

LONDON! cool...well i also had to do research on customers at a retail store my first week but had so much fun (professionally). i have always wanted to know the real needs of customers. When you talk to them, be it customers or suppliers, they begin to get along with you, trust you and become loyal. If you rely on keeping your fingers crossed you loose them. i believe when we are asked to do a research on our first week as rookies, its not just all about getting to know who you are working for, but also to enhance both your participation and progress as a worker and that of the stakeholders. oh....and gives first hand experience with key publics :D
