Its been a while since i updated everyone on what i have been doing. As you all know Public Relations is a very broad field and i did my intern in a small media outlet. Working for The Ngami Times newspaper was challenging firstly when i got there as i was dealing with clients but i did enjoy writing feature articles and news.
I did conduct interviews, going to meetings and workshops on behalf of the company. This really helped me a lot as i had chance to meet with different people especially from the different ministries and both non-profit and profit organizations. I also met artists and working with the community at large.
I felt weird and in a bad mood after i realize that my working days were numbered at TNT because i was going to miss all the friendly staff especially those i went on field with them.

The most interesting part about the internship besides doing what we have been studying for is meeting new people and interacting with them. Meeting people who are in the corporate world and who are more experience and who we got to learn from every single day of our placements, that is why it is usually so sad when we realise that our time with them is not as much as we want it to be.
Your placements sounds more like mine because you had to do both PR and journalism therefore getting an idea of what they both have to offer to the industry, for that reason you were more exposed to the world than just doing one thing.
