THE JOURNEY CONTINUES.....PR & EVENTS

Hi All,

The time that i have long waited for arrived, indeed a bright day. During the event my task was to welcome visitors, delegates for MEMS (Malaysian endocrine & Metabolic Society), members from the society and other representatives from various organisations. The registration counter was well equipped. The media was provided with necessary information as they were given press releases written in English, Bahasa and Tamil.

Director General Ministry of health Tan Sri Dato Sri Hj.Ismail Merican attended the event.

Striving to excel and working at a higher efficiency level. The agenda for the event was prepared well in time. During the event i learnt different angles when it comes to approaching the media and other visitors. Active team members help in preparations for the event. During that day we came like an hour earlier to prepare and arrange things accordingly, with the welcome banners in front of the building. Punctuality, proper attire gives first impression about the organisation, with a good timeline to allocate activities during the event together with the conference.

The launch was about the "Practical guidelines to insulin therapy Book" after the event PR department had an interview with the journalist. It was a great experience indeed.
