I hope all of you are doing good. So, how's your internship? i hope you guys are having really good time in office. After i finish my internship, i was just realized that working as a PR practitioner it wasn't easy. I mean, you have to understand, at least some of theory or concepts in public relations. because its really helpful in your work. Like what i do, last two months when i'm still doing my internship, thank God i know about ethics and crisis management. when some of our client having issues, i've found some solutions how to make it better. its related to one of our client's event. first, i'm kinda stuck of what ethics is about. then after that i've found on my notes what i've learn in class on my last two semester. that was amazed because at least i know something about it and i know how to handle clients' issues. it was helpful tho'. at least my boss doesn't getting angry because of my work. but the thing is, everything going so fast and smooth. all my work in 10 weeks in SISTER office was priceless. all the work that i've done are impressed.
so, that's what i want to share. so, i hope you guys are having fun and learnt so many things during your internship time. oh and i hope all of us having a good mark for our final report :D

These are excellent points. I could not agree more. PR is consistently looked at as a luxury job, and don't get me wrong I have loved my studies and my internship but the work has been far from easy. PR professionals have so many areas that they need to look at it can be a task just keeping up with what needs to be done. The theory we have learnt over the course of our degree will help us in ways we can't even imagine. I think that we have been well prepared for the world of public relations.
yess! that's why we have to be careful about what PR is. its not like what we're thinking and what we've done during our internship time. I mean like PR world is bigger than we thought. there could be anything happen even if its not related to what we've learnt so far.
