Last day on the job
The last day on the job was a bittersweet moment for me. Well I was sad because i was going to miss my colleagues at work as well as everything i was assigned to do. on the other hand i was happy because i wasn't gonna wake up at 5 o'clock every morning and take 3 buses to get to work, and wear formal all the time. I really learned a lot during my internship at Salina and Associates Pr and it was a blessing to work there. I am so gonna miss my colleagues welcoming smiles and the way they treated me. If you are working in PR agency at times its quiet hard as in most cases they do not trust students to do work as pure PR practitioners and they tend to give you basic stuff none the less i still learned a lot and practiced what i learned in school into the working environment.
Working at Salina and Associates has prepared me for the real world and i think i am ready to work in the PR field. At first i was kinda confused because i didnt know if i wanted to be a PR practisioner but my internship has changed my perception I am now looking forward to being a PR practitioner. The last day at work was so much fun as we took pictures together and we were supposed to have our lunch together but due to certain circumstances we were not able to. They bought a cake and we enjoyed it together as we were saying our last good byes. It is always hard to say goodbye but with the knowledge i acquired from Salina and Associates i foresee i bright future for me. It was a pleasure sharing my experiences on the blog, hope you all enjoed your internship like i did.
Stay blessed,
Boago, LUCT
