weeks that followed

as much as i was getting more comfortable and confident at the office, i got more than i bargained for in the weeks ahead. we were planning a fundraising dinner for the orphans again but this time around it was not that simple. i had to be the one to make calls and send some invites, and even find the most suitable venue for the event.

i found myself waking up earlier than usual, and knocking off late. the task was even hard as the dates clashed with other important events and the few hotels i found were fully booked but through hard work and determination, i managed to work through it all and at the end of the day i was able to find the venue, and most of the invites decided to come for the event.

By the way, this earned me the name BABY BOSS at work since i had to push everyone to make sure all went well!! hahaha
