Hi everyone, Its my pleasure to share with you about my experience in the Public Relations field during my internship. It started on the 6th of January 2012 and it lasted for six weeks. I did my internship at a non profit organisation called Malaysian Care. It deals with helping the less privileged people in Malaysia especially the needy, disabled, the sick and ex prisoners. I was in the communications department where I learned some few things that I can use when I join the industry.
The first day I had to attend an annual staff meeting which is held the beginning of every year. It was mainly about internal communication, some staff members were being promoted, new staff members were introduced. The aims and objectives of the organisation were announced and elaborated. The company calendars were given to everyone to guide them during the course of the year.
