So here I am again to
share the experiences that I came across during my internship in Miri
Marriott Resort & Spa. I promised to blog more often now as
mentioned in my previous post, and I intend to keep my promise! ;)
After
working for a few weeks in Marriott, I started to get the hang of the
working life. I came to realize that most of my time is tied up with
work and I am not as flexible as I used to be when I was still studying.
Apart from that, I am also getting familiar with things in the office
and also getting along well with my colleagues and also the rest of the
employees. They are all a bunch of really friendly, outgoing and
pleasant people! All the employees in Marriott will give each other a
friendly greet upon seeing each other and this never fails to make me
feel all warm and welcome inside. I was a bit surprised at first though,
but I eventually learned that the employees were actually trained to do
so. This does not only create a nice and healthy working environment,
but most importantly, it also makes our guests feel at home.
This is just a very short update about the environment of my
workplace which I would like to share with all of you. Hope all of you
are coping well with work too.
Have a great week!
