As a public relations student, I acquired the knowledge of developing press kits for prospective clients
and pitching. Getting into the shoes of event management was something totally new for me in the first few days of my internship. I learnt how to prepare proposal for clients and more so planning and organizing events and making sure that it is successful at all cost by satisfying your client.
Why i choose to compare public relations and event is that they share a very strong similarity together, which is the CLIENT! In public relation, your job as a public relation practitioner is to have the interest of your client at heart and also as an event manager you see to the satisfaction of your client. In my next update i will introduce to you most of the event as was part during my internship period until its bye from me
