Time to go!

This is my last post which will sum up with my experiencing working as an in-house public relations practitioner. At Qimeena Events.Com they use public relations to achieve their strategic goals by building relationships with their key stakeholders and communicating significant information to their targeted media.
The company does not have a hired PR consultancy, but rather they are using in-house public relations. In- house public relations  is where you are employed  and work solely for, one organization .As an in house PR professional, you are a member of a team whose focuses is the communication needs of the organization you yourself are a part of. Some key PR tasks for in-house teams include writing, media relations, event planning, researching public attitudes, and crisis communications.
As an in-house PR team we had access to historical and confidential information about a company, making it easier for us to develop appropriate communication strategies. In-house public relations is usually beneficial to the company because it brings new ideas to the company, and it also cut cost.
Below are some of the advantages of using an in-house PR:
In-house staff usually only have one client which is their employer. Thus there can be no conflict of interest between one account and the other.
There is good communication because channels of communication are shorter and more direct, it is likely that in-house pr staff will be able to communicate better with their clients than an external consultancy could.
In-house staff tends to stay longer than in consultancies. Lower turnover means better continuity.
Although a consultancy may have specialist knowledge of your field of business, staff who work in the same organization are pretty well certain to be better informed about the sector in which you operate and the company itself.
In-house PR is always on spot because an in-house unit is there at the heart of the organization, possibly only a few yards from the chief executive’s door. An instant response is therefore likely.
The in-house public relations practitioners work full time for the company, and are available to the company at any time they are needed. They are never working on another account which doesn’t relate to the company.
That's all from me, thanks for reading, hope you will enjoy your intern. Until we meet on the other phase of life. Bye :(
