Welcome to PR Internship - YOUR opportunity to put everything you have learned over the past years at university into practice and to get a thorough insight into what public relations is like "in the real world". This Blog allows you to reflect on your experiences, share insights with other students across campuses and to possibly give advice and support to fellow students. public relation tasks i performed
during my internship at Limkokwing Sport Department i did quite a few public relation work. the part that i enjoyed the most was when i and one of the Kenyan male, an intern student too, Mr Eric, we organized female named male competitions at the gym named; best male lifter and the biggest female looser, the competitions took a month before we could see the winners. we advertised our event around the university campus, using posters, and spreading the information verbally which was quite fun because i knew lot of people in school, so i believed i telling a friend, she or he will tell another friend and the message will circulate around the school. the times i was helping at the sport department, was fun too. i spent most of my time, helping in small paper work like designing leaflets for sports competitions and again i distributed them around the university, either giving the to my friends and colleagues during class times when my lecture was not in, or putting a desk and a chair outside the sport department office and inviting students to come register for sports. with the cooperation i got form my colleagues, it was fun and i enjoyed their company
