Hello Everybody,
It is the International Women Day and I was asked to make a poster for this day and to make researches on the most known women who have got an impact on this world. I was very interesting since I had to possibility to read further on women who contributed to the revolution and who had impacted on history. My objective was also to look for women who created a revolution but were not much well-known for their role in the evolution of women. Millions of women today benefit from equal rights than man and this is due to all these women who fought for decades to women rights. Only three decades ago, women had no right to education and had to abide to all rules set by men but with women like the Socrates, housewives who fought for their rights, women now can benefit from the same rights as men and have obtained equality of both sexes though in some countries, male domination is still present. My role was to demonstrate all these facts in a poster and in a document, I had to relate about the well-known women who have captivated the media. A poem contest was organized on this day among all employees and we had to write a poem about women. A box was placed at the reception and all poems had to be deposited there. The winners were announced the day after and prices were distributed among the three best poems. I had won the second price on that day for a poem on the evolution of women in history until now and all these poems were posted on the Facebook page of the company. The objective of these poems was to allow the employees to express themselves, their perceptions and ideas and rewards were allocated to motivate employees to participate in these activities. With this poem contest, I was congratulated by all employees with whom I had little contact since we had to time to see each other during our working hours and it was gratifying to have the congratulations of the General Director personally and my reward was a box of delicious chocolates.
