I am now reaching
almost the end of my internship and I had to work on the CSR of the company. I
had to make a poster to represent the various CSR activities undertook by
Sedeco Ltd and it was meant for internal promotion since the aim of the company
is to promote ethical CSR values to their employees and show them how important
it is to make CSR programs. My role was to illustrate through this poster how
helping your secondary stakeholders like the society could be a benefit for
people who faced poverty and how this could contribute to the image of the
company. One of the biggest things on which I have worked is on recruitment
strategies, brochures and posters; these works took me several days and it was
very important to me to provide a good quality of work because our aim was to
promote recruitment at Sedeco Ltd at Charles Telfair Institute. The company
might be present at the job fair which will occur in July 2013 at the
university and I had to make the poster and brochures which were meant to be
distributed among students. We had plan to make a presentation at CTI but after
having discussed with Odylle Charoux, we found no time to meet all students
since they were submerged with assignments and mid-term exams during this
period. But it was very interesting to work for my own university and
communicate with students about the atmosphere and facilities offered by Sedeco
Ltd. My role was to ensure that students were further aware of the company and
word of mouth was an efficient means of communicating with my peers. I have
faced various problems in trying to apply public relation techniques for Sedeco
Ltd since I had no précised guidance but I had to accomplish my
responsibilities towards the course of the PR 393 but most importantly towards
the company who had decided to entrust their public relations department into
my hands.
