What I did:
It was really difficult to find a free website provider, and after a long time of search, I saw this website: http://www.wix.com/. I found this site an interesting one because first of all it was free, it was not difficult to use, and pictures as well as animations can be included. Without wasting time, I created the account on my e-mail address and eventually I shall transfer it to the organisation's e-mail address. I have started by including pictures and including the articles related to the pictures.
Decision of my supervisor and why:
After a long time of reflection with the team, all of us has seen that this website can be free for only a certain period. My supervisor saw the idea of the website good but she was feared if ever after some time, the website needs to be paid. So, she decided to continue paying for the website and for innovation, we all work to make the website look attracting compared to the previous version taking in consideration my ideas of the wix.com.
It was a good experience and I learnt a lot when working on this issue because I did not realised that the website might be free only for a certain period.
Thank you for reading this post and comments are welcomed.

Hi MarieLorry,
I am happy for you that you have been able to find a place where to do your internship. Working for an NGO sounds great and I am sure that you had a lot to do there.
Thus, having a website in an organisation is very important for each and everyone. It is difficult for someone to look for information about your organisation without having access to a website.
The creation of a website for Groupe A de Cassis is a great idea, it will be a good way for internal and external communication, the public will be more aware of the purposes of the organisation and so on...
It is a very good initiative!
I have a question, how are they going to manage it? What I mean here, is that are there basic information which will be uploaded on a regularly basis, so as the public will be aware of each and everything happening?
Hi Sharon, thank you for your interest in this post. This is a big deal when it concerns for maintaining the website because the organisation does not have a PR department and no time to manage the website. When I was there, together with the coordinator we tried to have time to update the website and we did all our best but still there are some publications which are not yet published. Each time the organisation is going to organise an event or a campaign, details about how the event/campaign has been successful or not will be published on the website. To keep the public aware of what is going to happen, there is a Facebook page and a Facebook group which have been created for this purpose.
Thank You so much again.
Cheers.
Hmm I agree great initiative! Hmmm the challenge with this I feel is that would you commit all your time to running and managing the website? Would that take too much time?
However, I think working at a NGO is great and it is really interesting lookin out for the inside seeing how we always look at the government from the outside, complaining and whining.
