There is no real ending. It’s just the place where you stop the story.

Hi everyone!

Everything has to come to an end. Today is my last day in Tenby International School Miri with my interns colleague as well. Today I will be summarizing what had happen within the two months internship period.

I start my internship on 1st August 2013, with Vivian Lee and led by my supervisor Esther Choo. After a week, I met Wong Pei Ling, another intern colleague from Curtin University Sarawak as well. During the internship period, we had gone through two major event which are Tenby Open Day and Curtin Open Day.

During the internship period, I meet a lot of people and learn a lot of things. For example, I learned how to use Photoshop to edit photo and doing map. As Tenby is an international school, I was learn how to deal with the people from different cultural background.

Moreover, I found that Tenby International School Miri has a very unique culture which is much different with the other government and private school in Miri. For example, the students in Tenby are very disciplined. They neither need a prefect to guide them nor bell ring to remind them go back class after break time. In addition, the teaching way they implement also very unique. They do bring the student to the outdoor and drawing on the road.

Student is drawing a planet on the road.
For your information, Tenby also implement a new system named Kiosk. Students are being given a card and this Kiosk is allowed the parents to reload the card by cash or cheque for the student to paying the meal, drinks or stationary.

Unlike other school, Tenby also provide some classes which other school do not provide. For example, swimming class, Drama class and music class. Teachers are professional in the fields.

Last but not least, I really feel glad that have the chance intern in Tenby International School Miri. If there is another chance for me to choose, I will choose Tenby International School Miri to complete my Internship assessment. I learnt a lot of things during the internship period. The staff are very friendly and kind.
