Like the first week of my internship, had few events going on and I was given tasks to do for these events. For this week, the event was on an Environmental talk and self made soap given by Local Agenda 21 for the students of SK Pujut Corner that just sat their UPSR* this year. The aim for this talk is to expose the students about what is currently happening with our Earth with the floods in certain area, global warming and other more natural disasters that are frequently happening now.
(*UPSR, Ujian Penilaian Sekolah Rendah is a national examination taken by all students in their sixth year in their primary school before they move on to secondary school).

Also, we had a public speaking program, "The Magic of Public Speaking", a workshop given by Mr. Abel Tan, a member of Miri Toastmaster club. For this program, the objective of having this program is we (Pustaka) would like to emphasize on public speaking and on how to deliver good communication skills through public speaking and in English, targeted upper secondary students about 50 students from different schools within Miri. In the workshop too, we conducted a public speaking competition among group of students with the topics prepared by Mr. Abel himself.

In this workshop, I too learned that, when it comes to public speaking, we must be keep calm and be confidence even though inside you feel like breaking into pieces. Also, at anywhere we are, we can always gain knowledge, its either you want to find it or not.
