An Intern in a Semi Government Organisation.

At first, my first thoughts of working here at AITI, the only organisation that functions as a telecommunications and ICT regulator and service provider in Brunei Darussalam would be boring. But working here for the past 6 days has no doubtfully proved me wrong. Everyday is a learning process and the tasks and targets they have outlined for my internship period are very intriguing as a pr student.

I haven't even spent a week here and they have already given me tasks in 3 departments which relates so much in what I have been studying in theory at Curtin University:) The units I am working with is mostly under strategy stakeholder unit as well as the pr department with the social media team. Aside from that I am also helping with the international relations helping them translate our native language to English for other countries.

All I can say is I am so happy I got an internship placement in this company and  to contribute my thoughts and knowledge and put into practice from what I have learnt in university.
This organisation has given me the sense of belonging as they treat me more like an employee instead of an intern. Today, I will be giving a presentation to the head of the corporate service group on the proposals for corporate social responsibility (CSR) lined up for AITI 2014. Wish me luck.
I have more to update with you guys. But for now this will be it. Will blog in soon again:)
