Hello Fellow Interns,
I have already come to the end of my internship for PR 393 which I have gone through for a brief period of 5 weeks. Despite the short time I worked with the company, I found my experience rather invigorating. I am so lucky to have had a chance to work with such an organisation and I have learned a lot from them. My experience with AITI will be highly beneficial to my future as I had so much to do with the public relations field and also my other major in corporate screen productions.
The semi government organisation has a great structure and I see that most of the people are happy and loyal to work there. Most of the higher level bosses, supervisors and colleagues have helped me out a lot in broadening my skills and knowledge in the professional world. Being newly exposed to corporate structures, professionalism and office culture began; it opened a whole new chapter in my life and I will be using it happily to my advantage. I am thankful I had the chance to practice what I have done hypothetically and theoretically in university and apply it to my internship before working permanently.
At first I thought I was going in for a boring experience but I thought wrong. This internship was really great overall and has helped familiarize myself with what would be expected from me in the working world.
