Hello everyone!
At the end of my internship, despite being sad to leave the organization, I was grateful to everyone who contributed to my learning. I have now a better understanding of what PR is like in the real world. I got the opportunity to use the skills I have learned in class for work and get more knowledge on how I can improve to make my work even better.
Even though Publico Creative does not have a PR department as such, I still could learn the PR perspectives of their daily activities. The strategies and tactics behind photo shoots, product placement, the way ads are designed - they all have PR motives behind them.
The marketing manager does a running schedule and set deadlines for everyone. She keeps herself updated on the employees. This sounds much like an internal PR strategy to get the works done.
My conclusion is that like Publico Creative, many organizations do PR without knowing that they are doing PR. It is therefore important that companies which do not have a public relations department start implementing it, for a greater future!

This internship surely has been very helpful. For everyone of us I think. Long Live PR!
Hi Hema,
I recently completed my internship and could not agree with you more that I have a better understanding of PR. The place I was at did not have a PR department. It was more communications, so they dealt with everything from Marketing, a little bit of advertising, and of course PR.
I wish you good luck in your career.
