2. Besides that, I was given the opportunity to visit the media during the festive season. We gave away festive cakes to the all the media company in Kota Kinabalu. Here are photos of the media I visited:
3. Media relations is extremely important. As quoted from Dr Kamala, media can bring you up, they also can tear you apart. So maintaining a good relationship with the media is very very important in hotel industry. One slight mistake, the hotel reputation can be gone. This is why we(Hyatt Regency Kinabalu) visit media with some gift every festive season. Here are some photos:

4. Always always prepare for the future. I have to sharpen my language and my writing skills. After all it is the most essential thing of being a PR practitioner.
5. Love your job and your company. This is how you enjoy when you work.
All in all, thank you Curtin University for these awesome three years and the assistance from Dr Kamala in completing this internship. I've learnt and prepared myself to enter the real world. Good luck everyone!

I agree with your input regarding the media relations, although I believe everyone will have a different personal experience with the media.

Yes, we must always prepare ourselves, to equip ourselves for the real war (world).
Actually, it is good to internship before we enter into the real world. So that, we know what is our weakness and strength, therefore we can improve ourselves and also prepare us not to do the silly things and behave like a spoon feed student.
