Five hundred and thirty three is the number
of emails I have received, three is how many months I have been at Soapbox and two
is how many days I have left.
Wow, looking back this has been an amazing
experience where I have learnt invaluable knowledge that I would never been
abled to attain through my University degree alone.
I can know say I understand the differences
in speaking to clients, journalists and fellow peers within the workplace. A
key survival technique in being successful within this industry starts at your
personality and the treatment of others. No one wants to work with you if your
demanding or impersonal, it really about developing relationships with people.
I can say I am a lot more confident in
researching and advising. I have learnt a lot about writing media release and
communicating with people. I have learnt that having a positive and driven
personality are two key aspects of success.
This experience has forced me to enter the
unknown and push me outside of my comfort zone however the results have been
enormous.
I can definitely say I will be unbelievably
sad to leave Soapbox, the people are amazing and have provided me with amazing
experiences.
This experience has taught me that I
absolutely, 100% have picked the right course of study and that I am now more
than ever ready to enter the workforce next year.
