Perth Ramble

Hi Interns

On Sunday the 12th  was the Perth Ramble event.

I arrived at the start point at 10 to help get everything sorted for the 4 hour race which was set to commence at 11. The start location had food stands, fun activities for the kids, Nova 93.7 and all the volunteers for the Ramble helping out with registrations and collection.

I was with Anthea who is the head of marketing for Perth Ramble ensuring that everything was on track and going smoothly, making sure all the volunteers knew what they were doing and everything was under control.

This year the Ramble hired a photographer so once I was finished going around with Anthea, I helped the photographer by writing down the names of the people that were being photographed.Their were so many bright and creative costumes, I couldn't believe the effort that some teams had put into their outfits it was great.

Once it nearly hit 11 which was the time the race started all teams, it was important that all teams knew what they were doing and they had all got their bibs, so Anthea and I just went around to teams to make sure everyone was okay.

As a whole everything went really well and ran smoothy. I was shocked as to how many people had turned up and particpated it made me want to be in the race aswell,
