Hello,
As much as my first week was relaxed in Malaysia at Go Communications, my second week had much more action.
I made my first phone calls as a PR person. There was an event coming up soon and the company needed to send media invites to all the major chambers of commerce in Malaysia. So my job was to make a list of all these chambers and call them to get their media person's contact details. It took me some time, but I managed to finish it in two days.
Apart from the phone calls, I also had to do the regular media clippings and media monitoring. I also got a chance to visit one of the magazines to meet a journalist.
And did I mention the awesome food in Malaysia? The food just adds up to the excitement.
I shall post my third and last week experiences shortly.
Cheers,
Saket.
