hope everything is going fine for you and that the start of this new semester is going well. My internship at Maluti Communications is already over and that place is really missing me a lot.
This was my first real job experience in the PR sector and I will not be able to thank Charles Telfair Institute for giving me the chance to meet such a great organisation and great people.
I know that I complained a lot about waking up early and the two buses to get to the Mount but for sure my everyday little adventure is missing me.
My last week at Maluti Communications was highly emotional as the other interns and I already knew that is was over. However, we still have work left to do and we doubled our effort to be more effective.
Our last task was to design a Facebook poster for a special offer proposed by RHT Transport Holdings Ltd. I was really impressed to see how our small team of intern was working and collaborating after 20 days of internship together. For sure, now, we were used to each other and a certain chemistry was built which ensure that really great works resulted from that.
It could not have been better till a big surprise came. When we submitted the work to one of the director who is always very strict and perfectionist, the only comment he said was to go for it and that there were nothing to change. We just can`t believe our eyes when we read the email as it was the first time since the start of the internship that he did not have any comment!!!
PR Internship 393 gave me the greatest experience of my life and for sure is one of the modules that I preferred the most. I am so enthusiast now to work in the PR sector and I am looking forward to work with my '20 days colleagues' in a near future.
I hope that everyone has been able to gain from their PR internships and to those starting now I just want to say that you are going to like it. Enjoy every minutes of your internship!!!
Yours for the last time on this blog,
Daren

Hi Daren,
That's great to hear you have enjoyed your internship experience.
I have also really enjoyed my experience, so it is nice to read someone's blog who is as inspired by their placement as I was.
Taking the 393 unit has really put the theory we have learned into perspective, in a good way for us both.
Good luck in your future endeavours!
Lauren
Hello Daren,
It's amazing to see that you too had a excellent experience during your internship. It was also my job in the PR industry as well and while it has been challenging at times, I have learnt a lot. I'm sure you too have benefitted greatly for this opportunity to become a PR intern for a month.
I can see how this internship has made you more passionate about the PR industry and I'm glad. I think this internship has allowed most of us to discover just how fascinating the PR industry is.
Good luck for the future,
Stacey.
