Throwback on my thirty exciting internship days

What a month! These thirty days have absolutely been the best experience so far with enriching and memorable experiences, new-born friendships and multi-stress faces which in other words means daily cups of adrenaline; this is why communications people like this particular environment. As my boss told me, “You have to be crazy enough to work in the Communications field.” Yes, I totally agree with his statement. Yet it can really stressing and demanding, a good sense of humor is what solidifies team works and of course, release the daily stress; particularly when you work for an institution which has to maintain a specific reputation and keep a certain standard.

What’s hilarious about my personal experience is that I always said, I was never going to work in any financial or banking institutions and finally, it is where I ended. I’m now regretting each words of this futile promise. In fact, I learnt even more. As this particular saying says by itself: “The only journey is the one within.” This internship has in fact, been the one which confirmed my real desire to work in the Communications field because It completely fits my personality and feeds my passion.

The Communications Strategic Business Unit (SBU) people, as they call it, have definitely played a big role in my apprenticeship. They took their time to explain each asset and negative aspects of a Communication job. They showed me how to handle difficult and stressful situations because it forms part of it. Even though, I think the most exciting part of my internship was the press conferences. I felt important and part of the team and this is what I will miss the most: MCB People and Press conferences.

As every last days you’re experiencing in life, it hasn’t been an easy day. It’s when you start to get a routine and create new friendly relationships that you need to go. Life should have a rewind button; anyway I’m glad to have tasted the life of an MCB working person and it felt great. #Thank-youTeamMCB
