Well I this will be my final post!!
I have started collecting the work I had done at CCGS and realised that I have accumulated a nice little portfolio.
This report is still a little daunting to finish but I think that I will be quite proud of it after.
4000 words seems alot but considering the amount of hours I have done its not too bad. Plus all those fanatastic appendices should help!
This unit I think has been the most beneficial out of all the units I have taken. While other units prepare you for the real world this one puts you in it which I think everyone one needs.
I do not know whether other business degrees do it but I think that every business student such as economic, accounting or human resources would benefit from a professional prac unit.

Hey Betthany,
It sounds interesting that you chose to do your placement at a high school. I think it will make your report stand out as something different from the other reports.
Being an old boy of CCGS I know how many corporate activities the school carries out, so I'm sure you will have no trouble with filling in the content of the report.

I totally agree with you that this unit has been the most beneficial out of all the PR units. I think all degrees should have a similar type unit to carry out in their last year or so at university so they really know what is ahead of them.
If this had not been a compulsory unit I doubt I would have been able to push myself to get out there and the same type of experience that this unit has enabled me to get. It really helps to push you out of your comfort zone.
