So as part of my internship I have been busy working on a number of events. After spending a lot of my time organising suppliers and sifting through lengthy guest lists I was very excited at the prospect of writng a real media release for the Pilbara launch.
I gathered all my information spoke to the relevant people and began my media release and came up with a killer title. A short time in my supervisor advised me that the South Hedland office had engaed a PR consultant to write it for them! So it was not to be and I must admit that I was disappointed. The prospect of having something that I had written printed was pretty excited - oh well!
More bad news was also in store and my placement has been officially put on hold due to a new CEO and new GM at DORIC that decided I cannot be spared at present from my everyday job.
So I will return to JAXON in early September
