What so interesting in second week? On 17th December 2008, the giant Christmas tree sponsored by Celcom was launched as an opening ceremony for Pesta Boulevard!
The decoration for the giant Christmas tree is done by Celcom. Its design is very nice and has brought up the Christmas spirit in Miri! The giant Christmas tree was hanging full of Celcom signboards as a competition for customers or audience. They have to count how many ‘Celcom’ signboards are hanging on the tree and text it to Celcom. The result will be released on 4th January 2009 which the Pesta Boulevard ends.
This is the giant Christmas tree and the decoration done by Celcom.
On the day, we have to prepare the souvenirs as an appreciation for those VIPs who are attending the opening ceremony as well as corsages when they arriving on stage. We also took responsibility to usher the reporters into the canopy where the stage was located and arrange the seats for them. The opening ceremony was successfully organized and also attracted many audiences to attend this event especially when the guest of honor, Dato Andy Chia started to light up the Christmas tree.
Dato Andy Chia and VIPs on that night are getting ready to light up the christmas tree.
The Chritmas tree after lighted up!
After one week of activities, I have to come up with the actual expenses for every single program so that it can be used to update the actual expenses to the whole event of Pesta Boulevard.
Till next time, I will be sitting in the office calculating… see ya :)
