So I am officially finished at my prac! I had another early morning and we travelled out to Armadale to do another visit as part of the community education program. It's nice to be finished, but also a little sad as I really enjoyed my time there and all the people I worked with.
I certainly learnt a lot during my time, that's for sure.
1. Proof read - I know everyone says this, and of course it's done at some stage. However I sure learnt my lesson when I finally finished my strategy and then had a 78 page document to proof read. It was the last thing I felt like doing, so I wish I'd done it as I went along, so it wouldn't have been such a big job at the end!
2. Time management - this had always been a big problem for me! I thought I had all the time in the wolrd to get things done, as working 9 - 5 seems likes ages to me, but a lot of the time I would look at the clock and realise it was suddenly 3o'clock and I still had a lot to finish.
3. Reference as you go along! It is so much work doing it all at the end. ahh
I'm glad I've finally finished my time, it's good to have it on paper as well. I really enjoyed my time, although it will be nice to have a break. Especially since this is my last unit, I'm now finished with uni.
