more to come

Hey everyone,
This is my first post today, but I have already done two weeks of internship. I must say that I was really stressed to start this internship because English is not my first language and it is sometime hard to explain things to people or to discuss some valuable point.
But as a suprise, this experience is really good for me because I worked in the International students committee at Curtin University where everyone who work in the office are international. As a result I am ‘excellent’ in English because I am not stressed by the judgment of others. I talk all the time, and suggest many ideas during brainstorming. For those who do not know what is the International Students Committee of Curtin University or ISC here are some information: the ISC is in the department of Curtin University Guild. The role of the committee is to represent international student in the university, to be present and help them for any queries or issues but also to organise some events to represent international events. The big project that we are working now is the International week where every continent are represented. For this event I am the public relation assistant, so I have my responsibilities which is really challenging. I have been assigned the African and Oceania continent. I have yet started to work on the African continent which very interesting for me as I am Mauritian ( an island near Africa as described by Abhishek from Charles Telfair). So I have a lot of idea for this day. But for the Oceania, it a bit difficult because I don’t really know a lot of stuff about Australian culture (typic meal, funny games and so one).if you have some ideas. It is with pleasure that I will listen to you.
Waiting for some news from you, hope you have a good study break,
See you
Celine from Curtin University
