Time has fly real fast, it has been a month since I first started my intern. While working here, I have notices something that I found very strange yet great about my workplace. Beside how friendly and loud the people are here, I have noticed that the working atmosphere is very relaxed. Having to come from Indonesia, this type of workplace is not something that I take for granted as the workplace back home tends to be very quite and strict. Then again beside the obvious cultural differences, it might be due to the nature of the business having to be a fashion magazine, but having to say that it is way beyond my expectation.
The editor, whom i will be working side by side with is very trusting to give me a big and important project to work with. She gave me the opportunity to work with Colosoul first ever initiative, and gave me the freedom to come up with with my own concept and planning for Colosoul's next upcoming event "The Colosoul Mentorship Program". I have been working on the event planning, which was rather difficult as we are an independent magazine and our activities are somewhat restricted as we heavily depends on sponsorship funding's.
