I am Adeline Leong from Curtin Singapore Campus. Currently, my attachment is into my 13th day and i am enjoying it totally! I will be blogging on my current job scopes by each blog entries which are very much the same in all PR agency or corporate communications department. As currently our company is launching a new product to the market for the "developers market" which i found it super exciting, cool and always looking forward to it!
From the day i start my internship till now, i was being tasked to do media monitoring for my company's product from various media outlets. From traditional media to even new media which consists of consumer electronics websites like hardware zone and engadget.com. These are relatively the online reviews and forums sites which will comment on our current new products to the general public who are technology savvy and eager to know about the latest review updates.
For my part, after collating all the media clippings i would need to do a daily reporting to my immediate boss. A short analysis is required to summarise or report what is the review about? Whether are those reviews positive or negative and any impact will it be on the company's directions or any implication if it is negative.
I will be sharing my involvement on online media on my next entry. Stay tune!
