Hi Everyone,
This is my first posting and a rather late one.
I am a civil servant and it took me quite a long time to get approval for this internship. Frankly speaking, it was a tedious and long process; I thought that I may be given a cold shoulder. Luckily, I finally got the "green light" from the various departments to proceed. From what I have heard, this is the first time a full-time staff of one department asking for an internship with another department.
Enough with the history. Luckily for me, the Public Affairs Department which I am granted an internship is having a major event coming soon in October 2009. I am tasked to work with the staff there in getting a publication done for the overseas delegates coming for this major event.
That should be all for now and it would be a very hasty situation for me to rush out all the assignments on time.
