Last Week

I am using this blog as an opportunity to reflect on my last week and my placement in general.


On my last week I handed in my draft report to my supervisor and I found this to be very beneficial for me. She was able to sit down with me one on one and provide excellent feedback and also gave me some extra things to work on. She liked my recommendations and said she would take them into consideration. She said they were realistic and were good ideas. I found this re-assuring, as I was unsure as to whether she would be offended by them. I was grateful for her reaction, I am glad she saw my recommendations as just suggestions and that I wasn't trying to belittle her in any way.

During my last week I organised meetings and did the finishing touches on the media kit that I was working on.

I have enjoyed my time at Colosoul and I feel that although when I graduate the work will be harder, I feel that Colosoul has enabled me to gain an insight into Public Relations and I am very grateful for the opportunity to gain real life experience.

I have been given the opportunity to meet with some great people, to increase my contacts with such people as Health Minister John Day and Style Aid Director Aly May. I have gained some valuable experience in events Management and I feel I have improved my Public Relation skills.
