Linc Integrated - the Final Word

Hi to all!

Recently I completed my official twenty work experience days at Linc Integrated and couldn't have hoped for a better experience! My internship let me experience some amazing opportunities. More recently I helped organise the free Hi-5 concert at Garden city, and booked the Bondi Rescue boys for a fund raising opportunity at Karrinyup Shopping Centre.

I am so pleased to have been involved in this experience, and hope all my fellow PR work experience students have had just as good a time as I have!

Although my professional practice is over, I am continuing my work at Linc. It was such an honour to be asked if i wanted to stay on to help with some upcoming big projects of theirs, and such a relief that they enjoyed having me along for the ride!

Upon reflection I have found myself being so very thankful for all of those hard years of study: they have really paid off! I can't imagine having tried to complete my placement or anything similar without having all the background knowledge that Curtin have supplied me with. All I need now is to get a job!

The best thing I have learnt from my experience is time management, and learning how to 'juggle' my clients within the consultancy side of things. It's tough work but very rewarding and I would recommend to anyone looking for a placement, that a consultancy really opens your eyes to many different aspects of the job.

Thanks for listening to me all semester, and good luck to everyone in their own endeavours!

Regards, Tara

It is true about that all those years of studying PR paid off. i used to think that PR was just the same thing all the time and it is a very boring job, but this internship did teach me that it isnt and all those classes of PR really came in handy.
The internship also though me how to be better in class when doing a strategy now.
